The Salvager’s Dream is a 2D isometric action game where the player explores a derelict space ship that is overrun by hostile robots. The player defeats enemies and solves puzzles to gain access to different areas of the ship and eventually defeat the boss robot.
I led this project as a member HomeTeam GameDev.
The game features a system to rotate which rooms are connected which the player needs to use to access new areas and progress
The Salvager’s Dream was made in Unity using C#. Version control was managed with Github. The team communicated using Slack and Trello.
On this project I designed and implemented the player movement and attack functionality, the enemy AI patrolling and idle behavior, attacking behavior for the ranged enemy, block pushing functionality, and map rotation functionality.
For the enemy patrolling behavior I created tools to help myself and other designers designate patrol routes and pursue distances.
